Need help with my C.V. Pleeeaaase

Would anyone be kind enough and see if it's possible to condense the list of tasks for my present job on my C.V.

I appear to of created a longer than necessary list and had to end it with any other ad-hoc duties.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.biggrin

·Reconciling bank accounts and purchase and sales ledgers.

·Reconciling supplier statements.

·Recording cash, cheque and PO payments in and out.

·Recording and analysing all bank transactions.

·Making payments via bank transfer.

·Posting invoices/credit notes to accounts system.

·Creating and sending remittances.

·Paying and posting wages to accounts system.

·Analysing and distributing capital and revenue grants.

·Matching delivery notes.

·Any ad-hoc duties as required.

Hi Rhianrach. I'm used to looking at a lot of CV's having spent many years in recruitment. I'd condense it to perhaps 6 or 7 main bullet points.
Put the most important duties at the top and combine some of the duties that you could consider to be of less importance. I'd remove the last 2 bullet points altogether.

It's also always a good idea to tailor your CV to the specific post that you're applying for. So if you do have the experience that the empoyer is asking for then make sure this is very clear on your CV and prominently positioned.

Hope that helps.

Ok thanks I'll have a look at the job spec and try to match my experience up with it.

Thanks again
