T's & C's

Hi all

Just about to start doing work for a client, can anyone recommond a 'generic' T&C format that I can follow.

I have made a start but would like to check mine against a standard as such.

Thank you!
Angela

Hi Angela,

Sorry, just had to laugh. The number of times I've heard the line "well, I've jotted down my idea's but just wanted to check what you've got"... That's when I normally lie and give completely incorrect answers that they rush to the manager claiming as their own! Imagine how I laugh!!!

But I digress.

you said in an earlier post that you were taking the ICB path so assuming that you now have your practicing certificate for your MLR cover just go to the practicing members area of the website, and there's a sample engagement letter there (7th item down) which looking at it tells you everything you would need to include in your T&C.

hope that helps,

cheers,

Shaun.

Hi, just a suggestion but (depending on the client and work being done), it may be a good idea to include the date you expect them to get their records to you in order for you to process them by xx date. They may not adhere to this but it may just encourage them to be on time, and may help your work planning.
