Hi Jane,

Have you considered the Sage Instant Payroll Self-study course books? You can order for £31.50 from the Register Books website: http://books.theregister.co.uk/.

Although it was published in 2006 there is more than enough material in the course to familiarise yourself with all the basics of payroll.

Regards

Peter

Hi Jane
The Exam is based on 2009 legislation and incorporates manual and computerised payroll. If using Instant Payroll you would need it to be up to date with the bandwidths, if you have got Payroll Pro it wont matter because they can be changed manually.
A book on manual payroll plus a book or books on whatever computerised package you have got should be sufficient.

Regards
Gazal

Thanks for your help - think I will go the route of finding a good book plus Sage training rather than pay out for a course (money for old rope if you ask me).  Does anyone have any advise on a good book - seems to be loads out there but don't want to buy the wrong one(s) if I can help it.

J
