Money Laundering Registration

Does anyone know the penalties for late registration under money laundering rules for bookkeepers? It seems it is essential for non vat registered bookkeepers to register for MTD.

Not sure what your point is with the second sentence, nor whether it's correct. Mtd hasn't come into law yet, unless I missed it (highly likely)

Fines and imprisonment for not doing the former, it's all detailed on HMRC and covered by the act itself.

If you are a bookkeeper and are not registered then get yourself registered straight away.

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.
