IT limited company trivial expenses


Hello everyone!

My husband hold a limited company. His nature of business is information technology consultancy activities. Recently he was make a speech about math in an Chinese University .Can his company pay his travel expenses? And if he can be paid, this expenses should be put in business cost or director loan?

if he want to attent a math meeting for publish his paper, can this also be paid by his company?

You need to check this sort of information out with your Accountant. There is insufficient information to be able to assist you. If you do not yet have an Accountant I suggest you get one asap.

Travel is a complex area and not worth getting large fines and penalties for taking free advice from strangers on internet forums. Plus you shouldnt take advice given to other people on here as they are not specific to your circumstances.
