Hi All

Just wanted to say hi to everyone. Been an accountant for over 35 years, qualified as ACMA  and worked in a variety of businesses large and small. Handled vat, tax, annual accounts, stat accounts. World fell  apart in 2016 when my wife was diagnosed with cancer and my dad died.  Resigned from my role where I was Head of Finance for a very large business as I needed to look after my wife. Two years later and she is on the road to recovery and  I now work for a small business  where I do everything related to finance as there is only me to do it. However, I do need to earn a bit more money and want to provide accountancy and bookkeeping services. I felt that I needed to refresh my bookkeeping so without knowledge of this forum I have done ICB and just need to pass BA7. However, reading the comments from this forum it appears that I picked the wrong one.  Its the start of a new journey for me and I am hoping that you can help me on my way. I am sure I have forgotten something, if I have, please ask.

Thanks for your time

Clive

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

I removed it after that weirdo sent me an offline message thinking this was clearly Plenty of Fish or eHarmony or whatever.  Then of course there was the other weirdo.   But how about this one.  Posh chips - for those who take the proverbial (I think you might know the saying, unless its just a northern one!)

Oh, is that why you removed your business details?  One of the dangers I guess, why can't people be normal?

Ha, the saying I used was ''p*ssed on their chips'' which I know is a slight tweak on the original saying and probably not very ladylike! Hence the chips.  Yours are very posh chips.
