Free hmrc software

Hi Previously, you were able to log onto your account on HMRC website and submit small companies accounts for free. Has this service now finished? As this no longer seems possible. Thanks Nadia

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position

Have a look at Taxfiler, Nadia.  £12 a month for up to 50 businesses, can either be CT600 returns or self assessment returns.

You can still do your own company, but its a bloody tortuous process imo (and has mistakes in the software, or did when I tried it last!)

Hi Joanne

I tried it twice, before the restriction came in, and hated it.
