WANTED: Bookcert Business In A Box Accountant Letter

Hi all,

Would anyone be willing to email me a copy of the letter suggested to send to Accountants.  I'm setting up for the second time and I can't find my Bookcert Business In A Box and could do with a copy of the letter suggested to send to Accountants as my mind is totally blank on how to approach my local Accountants.

TIA!

Thoughts are my own/not to be regarded as official advice, which should be sought from a suitably qualified Accountant.

You should check out answers with reference to the legal position

Are you sure that you want a pro forma form justthe same as everyone elses? If an accountant gets something that they've seen a dozen times before then printed copies just gets filed in the great round under desk filing cabinet and emails generally mean that you are just doing a mailshot so they get ignored.

You are much better off networking that sending out mailshots. If as your site says you have 20 years experience and you have no intent of going beyond trial balance then you should be able to pick up some work.

If you go beyond trial balance accountants may seee you as encroaching and be less likely to sub contract anything. They will also try to get you banned from the networking group as not really a bookkeeper.

On the direct question I think that would encroach on Steve's copyright for people to share documents from the kit. However, there are plenty of resources on the site for formulating introductory letters and general CRM advice.

kindest regards,

Shaun.
