Book keeper/Administrator Part-Time or Self Employed

Small business, Oldbury-on-Severn, Bristol (BS35)

  

Description

Small, local, friendly firmrequire a part-time employed or self-employed Book Keeper/Administrator for approx 10 hours per week.  Previous experience is essential.

Job Description

  •  Reconciliation of control accounts and payroll
  • Bank and other balance sheet reconciliations

  • Invoicing and credit control

  • Purchase ledger and supplier payments

  • Petty cash management

  • VAT returns and company secretarial matters

  • Assisting with tenders

  • Aged debtors and creditors reporting to company directors

  • Liaising with other franchisees, customers and accountants

  • Any other administrative tasks that may arise

 Person Specification

  •  Excellent communication skills
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office/Excel

  • Knowledge of accounting packages would be an advantage

  • Ability to work on own initiative

  • Hourly rate negotiable depending on experience
