Part time bookkeeper/Accountant in Walton on Thames/Shepperton -14 hours per week + additional hours from home!


Sandown Coachworks is a leading Car Accident Repair Centre for Prestige vehicles. They currently have a requirement for a Accountant / Book keeper on a part time basis. The role will involve monthly payroll, adding invoices to the cloud based FreeAgent ( Iris Openbooks ) system (these are produced by the Reception Manager), completing online payments to suppliers , dealing with accounts receivable and payable, compiling vat returns and dealing with the companies Chartered Accountant for end of year returns.

Main Tasks are : Sales and purchase ledger booking and processing, VAT, Journals, Payroll, 'Factoring debtor reconciliations, credit control, supplier reconciliations and payments, bank access and authority to pay suppliers and staff wages. Providing P&L for management accounting purposes and analysis.

You must be able to work a minimum of 14 hours per week in the office with any additional hours can be worked from home via remote login. Parking available. They are currently based in Walton on Thames until December / January and then will be moving 3 miles away to a new state of the art bodyshop in Shepperton Middlesex.
