Congratulations to Michelle - looks like I have to settle for a runner up position again. Will have to kick some arse of the clients etc. that forgot to vote for me!

Finally I'd like to thank everyone who participated, nominated and voted in the awards this year. Although I say this every year, the level of participation and interest exceeded our expectations, and I'm very pleased to confirm that the BKN Bookkeeping Awards will return again next year for 2014, with some new award categories being introduced!

Hi Steve, thanks for the update. I managed to wangle a bit of a write up in the local paper, and they were asking why I had no award in my photo, so I wondered how long they would be. They will just have to deal with my face on its own, as the column runs next wednesday and I have had the photo done now :)

I got mine on Christmas Eve too!

I was on my own in the office (staff finished the day before) when the doorbell rang. It was the local florist with a HUGE bouquet of flowers for me from the staff!

Then the door went again and it was a DHL courier. I said that I wasn't expecting anything. He said "Maybe it's your Bookkeeper of the Year trophy!" And it was! Don't know how he knew though!
