Sage year end p60 problem

Hi,

I will check dates again now. It is Sage payrol 50 that I am using, it is the 2007 version but has been updated every year except last year. As far as I know there were not any software changes in the last update so I do not think it is an update issue?

Thanks Glynn

Hello,

I am somewhat late with my pye return and am having difficulty getting it finished. When generate the p60 reports two of my newest staff are not showing up on top of the three of my processed leavers are showing.

Unfortunately having never needed sage support I cancelled it, now i need support:(

Has any one any ideas why the p60s are showing these errors?

The two recent employes are showing up on all the other reports and the three leavers are showing as left.

Thanks for your help

Glynn

Hi Glynn....not quite sure what you mean by this sentence...lol

When did your leavers actually leave?  Only employees that are still in your employ at year end will require P60s as leavers will have had P45s.

Hi,

Thanks for your response.

I have three members of staff who have already left but the system is generating p60's for them. One of them left in week two, one in week 28 and one in week 32 - all three of them have been processed as leavers and have received p45's. Obviously they should not be receiving p60's from me as they were definitely not employed at the year end. I do not understand why the system is producing p60's for them.

I also have two employees who started employment in week 32 and who are still in my employment yet the system is not producing p60's for them.

I have been through all the p11's etc and everything is fine, it just seems to be the p60's that are incorrect.

Thanks Glynn

So the system is producing P60s for the leavers and not for the employees that are still in your employment?  Strange.  First of all I would go back and double check that all the dates are correct...i.e. the leavers have the correct leaving dates and the new employees the correct starting dates.  Are you using Sage 50 payroll or Sage Instant payroll?

All the dates seem grand - I even rolled back the employee who left in week two and reprocessed them as a leaver. I then went through the year end process and they still appear in the p60's.

Thanks Glynn

Hi,

I have about seven leavers processed throughout the year but the p60's are only be produced for those three mentioned earlier. I actually have two leavers on the same date - but only one of them is showing up in the p60 list. Both these employees were processed as leavers at the same time!

Thanks Glynn
