No search facility!

Hi,

welcome to the forum

As Ben states, there is a search facility. (see above) but I personally find it easier to use Google as my searches tend to be more complex where I remember bits of a conversation and am looking for specific words or sentences.

So, taking a simple search like xero in google I would enter :

site:www.book-keepers.org.uk xero -mobile

I've only recently started added -mobile to the end of all of my searches as I kept getting the mobile version of the site returned which is not in a format that I like when using a PC.

HTH,

Shaun.

p.s. amended because a coiple of words that I was sure that I had written went walkies.

Hi, I joined just now and wanted to search for any Xero related postings. But there is no search facility?

Surely search is crucial to get the full benefits from an active forum such as this?

Welcome to the forum. I have just used the search button in the middle of the blue strip at the top of the forum. I typed xero in and got some results, so it's definitely working. Hope this helps. Ben

Hi, thanks for the speedy responses and apologies. I looked and looked and didn't see the Search item on the menu at all! Maybe because we are tuned to looking for search in a box, usually on the right.

Anyway, sorted now, so thanks.
