The only things that are missing from the pack are the website and the telephone support from Bookcert, and that is just because it is second hand.  Everything else - the manual, training materials, proforma documents and all of the cds - are included.

I didn't really use the first section in great detail because I already have bookkeeping experience (I really bought it for the second half which covers marketing etc), but I did read through it all and go through the training materials as a refresher.  I think it explains the basics well and gives some good examples.  It starts from scratch and assumes that the reader has very little technical knowledge.  I wouldnt say it covers more than the basics - for example some of the more technical points that you might come across in practice on clients, but as a starting point it is well explained.

I found the second half of the manual really helpful.  This had advice on how to find clients, market your business, present your work to clients.  I have used all of the templates provided - engagement letter, invoices, proposal letters etc, - and just tweaked them a little in a few places.  They have saved me lots of time instead of starting from scratch!
