Ok so I have my first accounting interview next week. I only started the AAT qualification 2 months ago but I am studying the intermediate level. I don't have previous experience in an accounting (or office admin) role nor have studied sage. I will be sitting in on the foundation year sage course in 2 weeks time though. From what my college tells me the employer realises this and will be looking for signs I understand the purpose of the AAT qualification as well as my future interest in pursuing a professional qualification such as ACCA. I am wondering whether the people on the forum know of other types of questions that may arise from their own first experiences of trying to get that foot in the door? Also big question: what are the main differences betwee acca and aca? I have researched both qualifications on the acca and icaew website but haven't found much on the differences between the two. I just believe chartered accountants are more highly respected in England but acca and certified is better known internationally. __________________
