Has anyone heard or used DIY accounting package?

Hi Everyone,

Has anyone heard of the 'DIY Accounting' package.  Its pretty cheap for a year subscription.

The only reason I am asking as I know someone who uses it and I had a quick look the other day and just at a glance it looked quite good but don't know how effective it is compared to QB and SAGE for reporting etc.  The person using it hadn't used SAGE or QB so couldn't comment.
I think it is just glorified spreadsheets, but looked very good.
I'm not thinking of buying it just curious about it. (I was networking, can't miss an opportunity)!

Any thoughts anyone?

Thanks,
Amanda

I have heard of it, but never used it.  It is spreadsheet based and has a spreadsheet for sole traders, one for limited companies and even one for payroll.  It supposedly produces Self Assessments and CT600 (long and short).

They have a website, you can take a look.
