Are these the right forms? SA100, SA102 and the SA103F?

Quick question from a novice who is trying to learn. I was employed earlier in the year, but gave up employment in December to start my own business (self employed with no one working for me). I don't own any stocks or anything else, apart from my bank account.

Which forms do I fill in for my self assessment?  I've read the guides and I think that I need to fill in three forms, the SA100, SA102 and the SA103F. Can anyone confirm that these are the only forms I need to fill in? Thanks for the help!!!

I am assuming you have informed HMRC that you have become self employed etc etc

The form SA100 is the tax return itself, although you would need the employment pages and self employed pages. The Sa102 and Sa103f are just notes to help you complete the tax return correctly.

If you have not completed one before, I would suggest getting advice or someone to complete the forms for you, as they can be a little overwhelming. It is also easier to complete the forms online rather than the paper copies.

Hope that helps.
