new email address

Anyone out there know how to update your account with new email details as I just can't see any options.  Or do I just need to start again?

On the subject of change of contact details I used this as an excuse to blanket email everyone on my prospect list (about half way through so far and adding as I go) - having sent out to about 50 emails I have received 2 phone calls with very positive signs of them becoming clients.  They wont be big earners for me but every penny counts - think I'll make this a regular exercise and think of a reason to blanket email prospects every few months as that way my name keeps popping up on their screens to remind them I'm here - hope they don't get sick of the sight of me!

Jane

Just had a look in my user details, if you go to edit profile, there should be your email address, which you can edit. Then go to settings and select display email (if you want it visible to members).

Hope that helps/ works

Bill

Hi Jane,

Out of interest, when you say you do a blanket e-mail, do you have a letter to your prospective clients that you then copy and post into an e-mail or is it just an informal e-mail with just a few lines letting people now who you are and whta you do. I have a list of people I am thinking of contacting (small local businesses) but not sure where to start on the e-mail front as I know some people get fed up with being bombarded with e-mails.

Any info will be much appreciated.

Many thanks,
Amanda

Hi Jane,

Can we be really cheeky and ask his you have a standard few lines, could you e-mail them too me, (I do accept e-mails from this site, if you click on 'amanda' my e-mail add is set-up on my profile). I have looked at yours and you are about 700 miles from me, so I would say our clients wouldn't cross over!!!

(If you were close to me I wouldn't ask),

Many thanks,
Amanda
