Hi My client has taken out a hire purchase agreement on some plant and machinery. Can they reclaim the input VAT straight away or do they reclaim a bit on each repayment? Thanks.

Hi I completed a basic book-keeping training course last year and I'm currently completing my first tax return. Can anyone advise whether I claim this training as a deductible expense on the return. It was quite costly and it will make a big difference to my tax bill if I can include it. Thanks. Jill

Can any one help. I'd like to find out if there is a list available which gives basic accounting headings together with their VAT coding, i.e Wages = T9, Purchases = T1, etc. Any help would be appreciated as I didn't realise the difference between Non VAT and Exempt; Is this a common mistake?
