Hi I know that the interest on a short term loan needs to be logged as an expense on the P&L, but is that the same for a long term Loan or should this be logged on the Balance Sheet? Any help much appreciated!! Thanks

My client has a customer who has underpaid by 18p. My client is happy to write this off as it's not much, and I want to tidy up the account. I'm using Sage Line 50. Can anyone advise what would be the best way to write it off? Thanks. Simon
