i can't claim this one, but gave me a laugh after Englands double departure.....

We the undersigned 3m real people & computer bots demand a re-run of the Iceland game.

 

We were lied to before the game & led to believe Iceland were easy to beat.

 

The result was marginal - we only lost 2 - 1.  The rules should say that we have to lose by at least 2 goals after extra time for the result to be valid.

 

Our younger players barely played any part on the field.

 

Other players now say that they wished they had played differently.

 

The manager resigned after the match.

 

The British people are fed up with what happened.

 

We demand a best of three.

I saw that on aweb and it made me chuckle.  There's a brilliant paody of an iceland advert that appeared on Facebook the morning after, and whoever did it is very clever with CGI.

Best one I saw was after the Wales/Northern Ireland game - yet again Wales have taken Northern Ireland out of Europe against their wishes.
(It made more sense at the time of the game).

Bobby Charlton was asked whether the 1966 squad would have beaten Iceland.  "Yes" said Bobby "1-0"   "only 1-0?" the reporter asked.  "Well most of us are in our 70's now" came the reply.

 biggrinbiggrin  There are some really good piccies doing the rounds, but the one I laughed at most today has a rather rude word that might mean it would be banned from here to protect the delicate people.

plus yes I had seen the Iceland ad - but strangely (and Ive no idea why) without the narrative!
