Hi again Nadia
Do you mean what expenses are allowable for covering a proportion of your bills for a 'home office'?

Or VAT on something specific?

Hi I am really sorry all for my last 3 posts. I have been having a little trouble posting on this site and using a phone / tab doesn't make it easier as half completed messages are being posted Basically my question was regarding a client who wishes to register for vat who is in the travel industry. So wanted to understand if there were any specific issues with this type of business and what they can claim ba k whilst working from home. Thanks in advance

Hi Nadia
I know what you mean when using a phone!!! The VAT angle for the travel agency is on the other post - not sure if you picked that one up yet www.book-keepers.org.uk/t62333733/travel-agent-vat/

The 'home as an office' thing will not impact on VAT itself - do you have all the info you need on this element?

Yes I do Thank you Some light reading tonight on TOMS margin scheme Regarding working from home, I guess the expenses you can reclaim Vat on would be same as any other business you may operate.
