Job Opportunity in Birmingham Sage knowledge essential


Sales Consultant / Telemarketing

 

Softext http://softext.co.uk/ are currently seeking an experienced Sage Sales Consultant who is looking for full time employment. Candidate must demonstrate strong skills in all aspects of the role, including pro-actively generating sales opportunities, cold calling, following-up leads and establishing/managing new and existing relationships. Ability to establish relationships and build rapport on the telephone with decision makers e.g. Finance Directors, Managing Directors, Operations Directors etc

 

This position will involve a large amount of customer, client and supplier contact so good telephone manner is essential along with outstanding communication skills. The hours of work are from 9am-5pm, Monday-Friday.

You will be processing customer's sales orders via telephone, and email

*Process all credits and direct sends to customers as and when necessary

*Deal with customer enquiries/queries, maintain records and build customer relationships

*General administration

 

Key Responsibilities

 

Customer Contact

*Receive sales orders from customers

*Process those orders on Sage and CRM system

*To make the customers aware of current promotions

*Systematic contact with customers to receive and verify requirements

 

Extending and refining the companys CRM sales and marketing contact database using all available means to accurately reflect the current state of every potential and existing customer and contact

 

Supplier Contacts

 

*Transmit requests for orders

*To receive and process the orders

 

Person Specification

 

*Proven track record in telephone-based sales: Essential.

*Comfortable with making a high volume of outgoing telephone calls on a daily basis, including cold calling: Essential.

*Clear speaking voice and excellent telephone manner: Essential.

*Experience using and understanding of Sage Instant/ 50 Range: Essential Act CRM: Preferred.

*Good IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office: Essential.

*Excellent standard of literacy and numeracy: Essential.

*Ability to work on their own: Essential.

*Proven track record in customer service: Essential.

*Enthusiastic, personable and with a strong work ethic: Essential

I'm Fine cheers matey. Wearing my bankers hat more than my bookkeeping one at the moment.

Your right, I fear that in that position I would be prone to going down the "But that isn't the software that you want, now have you heard of this company called VT....".
