Can I take it that you are moving from the entertainment business into bookkeeping and/or Accountancy?

Are you in practice at the moment or just starting as a student? I ask now as it helps with how to guage answers made later.

Worth noting is that whilst we have a few Canadian, South African and Eastern European members this is predominantly a UK site so answers will in general be based on UK tax law which is somewhat different to the equivalent accross the pond.

P.S. Just noticed that this exact same introduction has been posted on many forums without any significant comminality in subject matter so I'm guessing that you're not actually moving into this field of work?
